I wasn't wanting/expecting to start another hobby but digging into some of the tools etc that I've inherited I believe I have a new one; vintage tools. I was going to sell everything but after reading up on some of the early 1900's stuff I find it very interesting. Just thinking about the people that have used these tools in the past makes me want to learn more about them.
I love to wrench on things; I'm currently going thru a 1972 C10 longbed and also building a pro touring 70 Camaro. This new hobby is keeping me from wrenching on the vehicles, but I'm enjoying learning about the history of vintage tools. I'm trying to research stuff before asking questions so please bear with me.
I'm currently doing inventory on everything I have, and will be putting some of them up for sale. I live in NE Illinois, and anyone nearby who woud like to come over and see my stuff is welcome to come have a look. I'm retired so I'm available most of the time. You will be amazed at what I fell into. Love this site, I'm totally hooked now.....
