Greetings from Sarnia Ontario.

I have been lurking for a bit now and stolen a bunch of ideas for my little shop so thanks for the ideas. Right now the shop is a 24x24 garage with my Chevelle in it and I am proud to say that for the first time in 11 years it has heat.

Welcome to GJ from another Canuck! Let's take over the place.

Yes we can lull them in with strong beer and poutine. Then when they pass out steal their wallets.

We forgot to tell you that Canucks have to pay double to be members here......Eh?

Welcome from Bill....who lives north of Canada......in Detroit.

I am actually a member of the Michigan Widetrackers so I spend a lot of time in the Detroit area for the car club. Since it is a Pontiac club we have to take the wife's car.

Not a Canuck but reside in BC.

Welcome.

Did you pop a wood stove in the garage?

Actually I went with an oil furnace that I put in a smaller orifice nozzle and I use coloured diesel as a fuel source. So far so good and I use about a 2 to 3 gallons of diesel a week to keep the shop at 55 F. The nice thing to is I can use about 10% waste oil to supplement the fuel source but I am trying to keep it around 3%. The furnace was free, the 200 gallon tank was 75.00 so I could not argue with the price.

Everyone else thank-you.

We have a 1990 Pontiac 6000......not quite a GTO.

NAT: i hear it's pretty cold up in your part of the planet these days so happy to hear you have heat now. what kind of heat did you end up using and can you post any details? also a few pictures of the garage and heat source would be a great way to learn how to post pictures.

i use the paperclip method to attach pictures to from my laptop and some of the guys that post via their cell phones use tapatalk and other methods. if you need help posting pictures just ask.

i'll try to send some sun your direction, but in the meantime stay warm and enjoy the reading on our forum.
