sorry I forgot to introduce myself I'm stimpy , I found you all when one of my cohorts on Trans am country.com mentioned this place so I had to check it out . I don't have a extravagant place like some of you all but I do work part-time in a bodyshop as a JAT ( jack of all trades ) specializing in welding , I was a marine ( tugboat/yard equipment ) mechanic , and I have worked in the tool sales( oh what a job !!! to sell big boy toys ) and aircompressor industry (IR & Sanborn trained ) while I went to college to study NDT ,but presently I drive a tanker truck full time to pay the bills , and I am building a 81/76 trans am for comp dragracing , I reside in the joliet Illinois area so "hello" all .

As not confuse anyone I should have made myself a little clearer on the car (warning!!! brainfart) , its a 81 rear chassis , with a 76 nose clip , I don't like what they did to the T/A's front end after 78 , and I love the one year only look of the 76 nose and since I have several of them, I decided to have a 81/76 , the blackout taillights will make it look great. the color is going to be a 39 ford black ( its purplish in hue ) the cars building pictures are on car domain.com under stimpys ride
