Somewhat useless for anything but one process. A wood pressure treating company I contracted for had something similar. It was used to predrill the rails on a pressure treated rail with black metal spindles, railing system. You could get them at Home Depots in Canada. Buy the rails and spindles then just assemble on your deck project. Pretty cool to watch it work though.

Hardly useless. Set up one with a countersink. Set up one with a 1/8" or 3/16" for pilot holes. Set one up for bigger drills at slower speeds. Maybe I don't need 6 spindles but I use 3 drill presses, plus my Bridgeport mill to make holes and being able to do so without changing setups is handy.

We had that exact model at work. It was great for various operations like spot, drill, tap, deburr, like to drill and tap a set screw hole in a lock collar held in a drill jig. Add a Cogsdill tool in the lineup and you could also deburr the underside of the tapped hole.

I had a 4 spindle production drill, but sold it on, took up more room than it's use justified.
It had 9 speed gear head spindles and two were power feeds, but the limited throat depth was an issue, it also needed a rewire and 4 new motor contractors as the whole lot was old and required constant attention, I don't think I ever had all the spindles running at the same time.
The work table made a useful adjustable height workbench.
