Hey all. Been looking at this site for a few years on ideas on my planned garage.
I was finally granted permission by my city to build a detached 26x28 garage.
I am trying to go about it the cheapest way and doing most of it myself as I have the tools (will always need more) and have been doing construction for over 12yrs. I already have my materials list generated and after some layout and delivery of a mini backhoe my cousin is letting me use I will begin the build.
The structure will be atop a thickened edge slab and this is where I am really at a cross road. More questions about that in another thread.
