Curious as to who all made tools in Ohio. Wanted to start a thread. The obvious makers I can think of are/were as follows. Please fill in as I’d like to learn more about Ohio’s history in tool making.
Ridge/Ridgid, Wright, Herbrand, Lectrolite, Lutz. Who else are we missing?

Wright and Cornwell both have Ohio plants. As well as Mac and Cornwell have tool box plants in Ohio. Mac,Matco, Cornwell and Wright corporate offices are in Ohio.

MAC started out with tool manufacturing in Sabina OH then added a second plant in Washington Court House OH.

I think Cleveland Twist Drill might have some connection to OH;) Lincoln Electric are also somewhere up around Cleveland IIRC.

Every time I go to the heat treater in Cleveland, I see huge bins of wrenches that have been heat treated. Unfortunately I don't venture close enough to see who they are made by.

Not to be off topic but it would be cool if we could do a thread like this for machines too. Awful lot of lathes/mills came out of this state

Joseph Shaw Company was out of Toledo I believe.
I have a DBE wrench marked JOS SHAW CO. Would love to know any backstory to it and the company.
