Oil block primer

Anyone used the armorpoxy oil block primer? I’m thinking of ordering the half gallon and going over two or three spots that I seem unable to get clean. I had some things stored in my shop for over a year and a half and some type of oil leaked out of one of the containers I had. I’ve power washed the floor several times and scrubbed the spots with simple green, kleenzol and going to try oil grabber in the morning. I thought I was just about ready to etch the floor but can’t seem to get this one spot removed. I’ve went over the floor with a 7” grinder very lightly, power washed before and after using the grinder, used simple green with a floor scrubber then rinsed with a power washer, let dry a few hours then hand scrubbed with a floor broom and simple green again and rinsed with the power washer.

Hi, comment on spot priming...if you intend to coat the floor then you must prime the entire floor otherwise you will 'see' the primed area through the coating due to the fact that there are differences in porosity if you spot prime. Imagine painting a deck that is bare wood and you only spot prime the knots, you would see them through a single coat of paint.

You can prime the entire floor with the Oil Stop Primer instead of the regular primer. We, as a courtesy to GJ Members will sell you the Oil Stop for the same price as the standard primer.

Well I already had the two part primer to do the 1200 sqft, and then found that I had a few places that I just couldn’t seem to get the oils completely out so I order the half gallon of oil block. My plan was to do the couple of spots I had with the oil block and then after they dried go over the spots again when doing the entire floor with the two part color primer before epoxy.
