Any idea where I can get those stick to the window Oil Change Reminders. I've tried all the local parts stores and only Autozone had them but wouldnt sell them just hands out a few when I buy oil there! I would like to have my own roll of them as I do a lot of oil changes for me and my kids!

Advanced Auto has them hanging on the wall next to the oil, free for the takeing. I imageine it would be good form to at least buy a gallon of oil, befor running off with 30 of them, however.:bounce:

When I go to autozone, shucks etc. to get oil, I've asked for a handfull and they have always given them to me for free. They usually give me a dozen +, so I don't need to get them every time i pick up oil.

How about using some old check registers instead? Helps you remember when you did the last air filter, tire rotation, brakes, etc....

While the check register is a good LONG term method, by no means is it a "REMINDER" sticker (he may not be the only one driving the vehicle)
If you have a shop you use and are friends with, for other things, you could ask them to order you a roll. They normally come from their oil supplier, but we used to also get some from salesman trying to either have us put an ad on one, or get us to use them.

I printed out a page of "next oil change:" stickers using clear address labels. They are not 'static cling' but otherwise work OK.

I have one of those new style label makers each car has a "oil change due" and a nother one under with the "milage" of when its due. That way I only have to print the milage.
Works well with the wifes tahoe I can always see that its over due

I have a computer in my garage where IK keep all the info on all my vehicles on a spreadsheet. I just just wanted something I can see right on the vehicle to remind me when to change!!

I have one of those Brother brand label makers and just print out a label that says "OIL 125,000" or whatever the next oil change mileage should be. I stick it to the clear plastic cover that's in front of the gauges. Next oil change, just peel it off and make a new one.

Those static cling ones are always falling off and get sun bleached. I hate them.

I change my oil in the van once a month @ around 8000 miles.
if I only did it twice a year the van would be dead.
I like your ideal.

I bought a gallon of Valvoline at O'Reillys yesterday and noticed there was a sticker attached to the jug.

I just use a piece of masking tape to write the mileage for the next oil change on, and stick it to the windshield up next to the top edge. I use a fine point Sharpie pen and write small, then cut just what's needed with a razor blade. Works fine.

I just bought 50 off of a guy on ebay. I think with shipping they were about 13.00 and you can have anything you would like printed on them.

Yup i use a peice of 1 inch green 3m masking tape and write when its due and stick in on a fuse box over on the inside of the engine compartment, cause I'll be in there before its due to refill the wiper fluid or something.

Sorry, this is not an answer to your question just a comment. I just go by the odometer and change the oil at the recommended interval. To me, those stickers are an eyesore--but then I'm a little OCD too.
