I am looking for ideas on how to build a oiler bottle and assembly for my drill press ... The plastic oil bottle and spigot were lost years ago... Just a simple drip system any ideas ? do you have one yourself? Thanks

My DP gets infrequent use so I just use an anti-spill oil bottle as needed Always think those drip oilers would constantly drip when I take my eye off it, and leave a mess on the floor.

The Harbor Freight 20" drill press comes with both an upper and lower drip system;
The 39955 model has replacement parts available for part of the system. You can order the upper brackets, bottle, and spigot. The total price would be more than the assembly that larry_g posted, however. A spigot would seem to be the way to go, IMO, as you could get pretty accurate with the placement of the fluid.

Edit-it's not letting link to the drill press at HF.

The oiler that came on my Daoll bandsaw was nothing more that an inverted can similar to the Rapid tap pictured above, with a line brazed to the cap with a valve ala Fireball tool.

I use a pump oil can... can use it at various machines.
