So my new floor has a 2 ft long hairline crack,, it’s in the middle of the 12 ft wide overhead door opening,,
It looks like it started in the apron that extends about 8” past the door when it’s closed,,
This area gets a LOT of sun most of the day so I’m sure it dried real fast
So do I say anything to the mason ???
And do I buy some sealer before winter and just do that area past the overhead door that is exposed ??

Almost every floor cracks within the first 24 hours. Usually it's at the bottom of the control joints but a crack is a crack. Shrinkage is the number one reason and most of it occurs early. Probably nothing to worry about structurally but sealing it will help prevent future issues.

I have a couple hairline cracks in my garage floor too. Not a big deal, and they have not gotten any larger. I wouldn't be overly worried about a hairline crack. For some added protection, as has been mentioned a sealer would be a good idea.
