Not sure if this has been done (haven't seen anyone on the board do it yet)
When I frst built my garage, I had Epoxy put on as a temporary measure till I could decide what I wanted long term.
I've looked at VCT, Regular Tile, Industrial coatings, Race Deck.. etc, etc..
I've decided to Rhino Line my entire garage floor, ( and up the sides of the foundation)
Called the local distributor, and he says they do it all the time for manufacturing plants.. so sure.. why not.
$8/foot including all prep, grinding etc...
You can choose your color, and they mix it in before it's applied (obviously)
No more worries about hot tire pickup, no worries about anything getting spilld on it, it has some nice texture so it should be as slippery as epoxy when wet.
And honestly, I think it will last about 300 years.
