OK to fix a backwards concentric vent this way?

I had a contractor install the concentric vent for my boiler last spring, as I had no experience doing roofing work. He did a nice job on that part.

However, he installed the vent backwards, which I noticed this week when I fired up the boiler and saw steam coming out the intake.

These things are asymmetrical, so the only ways to fix this are to turn it around and move the boiler, turn it around and make a new hole in the roof, or leave it as is and cross the pipes. I opted for the latter. Here's how it looked originally, but the boiler's exhaust is on the right:

I'm still well under the 60' vent budget, even with all the bends. Is there any reason not to do this?

Your boiler exhausts through PVC? How does that not melt?!

It's a condensing boiler that wrings the heat out of the exhaust for higher efficiency. Our house furnace and water heater do the same thing, and vent the same way.

As long as your under the TEL stated in the IOM you fine.
