Will someone please help me? There appears to be NO help available for a NOOB for posting an initial (and apparently required) post on this website. Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, I think I have this reply **** figured out. My personal lifetime situation first: I'm 59, within a few years of retiring. My man-cave just went up in the middle of this year. I will work out the driveway approach in the next few weeks as I am sharing a driveway with my neighbor and need to work out drainage (and contractor availability). I have a 24' by 48' by 9' wall height garage. I am waiting for a licensed electrician to perform the initial breaker panel and basic wiring install. I just had a 400 amp panel installed on the South side of the house, 200 amp for the house, 200 amp for the shop. After the install and state inspection of a basic installation, I will complete the rest of the electrical install for the shop. I have worked under several licensed electricians over the years, so I am figuring on completing the electrical installation myself. I am leaning towards OCB for the walls as opposed to drywall.

not the best way to introduce yourself and inquire about help. A lot of us are in bed while you are posting.
As to your second post, what exactly is your question? Sounds like you have a good plan for your garage. Also where are you from? It seems to be missing from your profile. you don't have to include your exact address, but ciy & state would go a long way. That can make a big difference in the response and the accuracy of the answers. For example, if you live in humid, wet conditions, drywall may not be the best choice. If your question is electrical, there is a great section just for that.
Another route is to use the search function. There are countless posts that will keep you busy for days.
Post up more and we'll shoot you some advice.

Posted at: Yesterday, 11:14 PM, Heck, I was still over at a buddy's shop. I didn't even get back to my shop until 2 AM. I'll take the time to apologize for everyone on GJ for not waiting for your post to appear. Now, was there a question in there somewhere?
