Not me either, would not even consider using it in a outhouse if I had one.

I have a radio in the garage, but many times I don't even turn it on. When I am doing woodworking the equipment makes noise and I wear hearing protection so I can't hear the radio anyway.

If I did not have a stereo already, I might try it just because.
I can't imagine the sound being to good especially in a big area like a garage though.

"40 in. LED Brushed Nickel Shop Light with Bluetooth Speakers, Bright White, 4000K, 3500 Lumens, 50-Watt, Plug In"

Seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist to me.

Its not a bad idea. It would be good over a bench or small garage. It would be even better idea if they where linkable.

If I didn't already have too many wired speakers, I would try it...maybe.

Personally, I think it's priced pretty reasonably for what it is. I may give it a shot for over my work bench. I like listening to music out in the garage, and something louder than my cell phone's speaker would be nice... But a wireless bluetooth speaker would accomplish the same thing.

That would actually be perfect over a reloading bench. Right now I have a normal fluorescent shop light, but I always play music as well. The sound quality would have to be better than my phone though. Still hard to justify the cost!

Just because you don't understand a product, doesn't mean it's bad. ;)

As a stand-alone light fixture, it's not very efficient. But in this case, that's probably not the main concern. If the speaker is decent, it's a good homeowner item.
