Northwest OKC. Is there a hometown area here to discuss things like local sales deals or ask for local help on projects?

I think forward to this spring when I might need some fellow garage fanatics to help epoxy my 3 car garage.

Die hard Mopar guy, Osgood? If you ran around with him, then you know Duffy.

1racer, I would have only gotten that from a recent FB post.

And 1racer and dadsmad are nowhere NEAR OKC, LOL!!!

thinking of Canton and how far it's from OKC (used to work with a guy that lives in Canton and drove to OKC everyday!!!).... I was on StangNet and a guy was complaining about having to drive across almost 3 states to get a Mustang part, the dude lived in Rhode Island!!!! Had to drive right up against the New Hampshire border, I was like, "Dude, that's like what, 60 miles? Heck it's 45 miles from one side of OKC to the other, try driving from say, Amarillo to Houston, in a day!!! one one tank of gas!!!"

Osgood?? don't recollect the name. Graeber was who I was thinking about, Duffy? ford guy that does setups? The name is familiar but I just associate it with a ford guy. I used to run camaros and chevelles. When we raced legit was mostly in ardmore but for awhile in the mid 70's ran at 1-40 and council till is closed.

Chris Osgood was a Mopar guy, does quads and diesels now.

Mike Duffy has the race car shop in Moore. He built a maroon '63 Falcon Sprint for Don Walters that ran down at Ardmore some, a guy named Bill Elliot drove the car, deadly accurate at the lights and Don was a whiz at tuning the Dominator on the 513 tractor pulling 385 series engine.

Mike still builds some outlaw 10.5 cars, but seems to mainly tune and fix other peoples cars now.

I worked for Walters while I worked on my masters. Helped him finish his yellow camaro before he got the falcon. Donny used my carb box with all my jets and I never got it back. (the most complete holley kit I ever put together, 4 of each size of jet that holley made back then and each size of both styles of power valves and every gasket, pump cam and extra parts) Put that box together when I had 2 500s on a tunnel ram, then switched to a 1150. Years ago I asked him for it back and he said he did not have it. I should have known better than to loan it to him.:( I ask my friend larry if he knows osgood, (is he a glass guy?)

update Yeah he's western mobil glass.
