I'm finally getting around to begin work on my shop. I have a 2-car detached garage. It's fairly bare bones on the inside with the exception of 3 workbenches.

To do list:

-Clean out the junk (the biggest hurdle so far)
-rip out a built-in shelf that I don't really care for
-New metal roof to match the house (already have insurance money for hail damage)
-Insulate walls and garage doors
-Wall board (maybe OSB or barn wood, still deciding)
-Peg board over the three work benches
-Probably install a window unit A/C (it's been dang hot this year)

Here's the blank slate:

gonna have to be a heckuva window unit to cool down a garage that big. post some pics of the inside, i'm hoping to buy a house here shortly and eventually build a garage about this size for projects.

I don't know... my 24x24 is cooled very well by a 18000btu window unit. :dunno:
