Hey guys and girls.
I'm from Missouri and am rebuilding an old 100+ year old schoolhouse for me and my daughter to live in. Most of it (80%) is fine but what needs work is the really big stuff. Foundation, joist, stone work, leveling, etc...

But here's the kicker. I just had a stroke past December and all my memory banks are mixed. So just bare with me and I'll not try to confuse ya all or try to not comprehend what I'm needing.
I forget some words or get them mixed up, my bad. I'll try to proofread as best as I can. Some days are better than most.

I'll start with some pics from what I first started and go from there.

Let me know if I need to move this to an ongoing thread. Be forewarned.

Don't worry about your posts, you're way more lucid than most of what I read on the internet. Your project looks like a fantastic opportunity. Can't wait to see updates. Best of luck to you and your daughter, this will be a rewarding project.

Looks like it's going to be a big undertaking! Looking forward to progress, I love seeing old buildings converted into living spaces.
As stated above, don't worry about the wording, it will still be more legible than half the **** online.

Be sure and keep the bell tower, but I figure the bell is long gone. Looks like an interesting project.

Yeah the bell is gone and the great thing about Missouri is the tower had to be removed because of high wilds. I still have it and it will be restored.
30% to go with the vid. Might be some cussing, I never seen the vid myself.

Vids done and no cussing.

If you pause at 1:39 min mark I'll let ya in a morbid secret. All good buildings has a story or ghost. Hehehe....

It seems an ol' boy Orville Shelton was a hoarder and fancied cats.
They found him missing after some time and found he had died, don't know why but the cats didn't seem to be malnourished.

Yeah, I don't think sanding that is gonna work.
