So I'm looking for some help identifying the make and model of this lift I acquired....my exhaustive internet searches have lead me to think it's a Weaver AFH90, but the base on mine is not the same. I originally thought it was a Rotary, but I've ruled that out.

It's not the original color. From the best info I can get, it was a light(ish) blue, but the PO wanted to freshen it up.

I mainly want to know just to look for parts if I need anything...it seems difficult to do without know that info.

Before the big recession everyone was making so many lifts the market got flooded. Hard to keep tract of all the models & companies. I'd say hook it up & see what happens. Repairing anything that doesn't work or fails in the future shouldn't be much of a problem to fix.

I know it will work. I've seen it in action last year before I bought it...Rams were rebuilt, so that's a plus.

Still would be nice to know who made it...it's really solid! I had a mini-ex teetering on it's bucket trying to move the posts! I've moved a newer Challenger lift, and it was nowhere near as beefy as this. And it was a 10k lift

Bob's right. Way too many to remember.

The columns appear to be forklift channel. Is that true? The carriages I see have roller bearing so the columns would have to be hardened channel.

Is there no overhead beam? No floor pan either?

I see only one hydraulic cylinder. I hope the offside column is not being raised with pull-chains attached to the main lifting carriage. Is that the case or am I missing something? Please tell me there not just one cylinder.

The two-hoses on the power unit suggest dual plumbing but for what? The power unit seems to be resting (I know just for shipping) where the other cylinder should be.

No arm restraints?

Definitely appears to be 1980's era design and construction.

A brand that came to mind....Girolift Canada.

It has 2 cylinders. One is just hiding in the photos...there is a floor tray. No overhead beam.

Short story is the original owner bought it new back in the 80's. He sold it to a neighbor who rebuilt the cylinders and used it for about a year before he was moving.

What do you mean by arm restraints?

If it has a 3-phase power unit, I would say it's a Benwil. They typically were used in GM dealerships in the 1980's and early 90's. The power unit definitely LOOKS like a Benwil.
