Old 6" vise identification

Hey all! This vise is for sale in my area for $25. We don’t have a vise yet at all so I think I’ll go for it, but I’m wondering whether to haggle. I’ve done some Googling but it didn’t turn up much – I just don’t know where to start. Any ideas?

ya, start somewhere else. It appears to be a made in China drill press vise- maybe worth $5, IF you need that style vise.

Be a little more specific on what you would like to do with I vise. That modern and poor quality drill press vise appears to be mounted on a workbench where it would be decidedly unhandy. There are a lot of folks on this forum who would be very happy to help you gain a better understanding. It would be worth the effort.

I concur, don’t spend 25 bucks on that.
