Found this going out for scrap. Had to ask if it was worth messing with. It weighs a ****** ton. Department stated it wasnt functioning but it could be something simple. I havent dug into it yet.

Runs fine. Dust collector bag is finished. Seems to have no oil left in it. Power switch isn't shutting it off. I was trying to figure out if it could be mounted vertically like a linishing machine but it looks like it would be very hard to mount as such.

It needs a new power cord. I think ill have to file this in the same category as a B&D Wildcat; awesome tool that I just don't have a use for. I certainly don't need another project.

Maybe I'll put it in the local classifieds to see if there is any interest.

At one time I really would have enjoyed having a working belt sander no matter how heavy it was. Maybe you can find someone who will give it a "Good Home".
