So I'm getting ready to tear down my small 14x20 pole barn style garage to build my much bigger 36x32 garage. But first I had to address this suspicious slab between my house and garage.
So a swinging I went with a sledge hammer to remove the slab...... little did I know it was actually a top to an old cistern/bilco. My well line comes into the house through here. Kinda cool. So I plan to use this room to run water out to garage and also the electrical. So I need to put a new top back on it but id like to put some kind of access hatch in it.
Looking for reccomendations on a hatch that is water tight and flat and also thoughts for putting a new concrete top on this bilco with the hatch in it.
I cat do the angled storm doors as this will actually be the walking paved area between the house and new garage so it has to be flat at paved grade height
