I've got a old 1/2 black & decker corded drill that my switch broke to change direction. Any suggestion on how to fix it or any one or place have parts that may work? This has been my favorite drill for years & I had a buddy helping me that was using it & was dropping it to the ground after each use.

Those drills are so common for around $5-$10 at flea markets/yard sales and pawn shops I would just buy another one. If that one is sentimental to you then I would buy another good working one for cheap and use it for parts to repair yours.

I just fixed a similar drill. Got a new switch off ebay. Any one part cost about the same as a whole used drill. I fixed it for my Dad, who will give it to one of my kids.
