#1. 1033 Dates from Sept 1922. This *Could* be the second oldest date stamped Bonney known. Though invisible to the naked eye, the stamping of "IN" can be made out under a magnifying lens. Over all in good condition. It has the full "^" Shield between the two "N"s in Bonney. The full "B" shield and Made in the USA is stamped on one end of the shaft. On the flip side it is stamped with "Chrome-Vanadium" with NO circle CV thus confirming that it pre-dates the CV tools. It does appear to have one owners mark in the form of an "H" stamped into one end. It does not draw your eye to it and actually adds to the feel of the tool. Sizes are marked as follows"
1/2 U.S.S.
5/8 {HEX} C
9/16 U.S.S.
#2. 727 dates from October 1924. The date stamping of "JP" is fully visible. The unusual feature of this 727 is the larger of the two ends has a slight bevel to it. It appears to have been produced this was and not modified. It is a B shield, Made in USA shaft stamped wrench. The opposite side of the shaft is blank. This wrench does show some pitting. Stamped sizes are as follows:
7/16 S.A.E.
7/16 {Hex} C.
3/8 S.A.E.
3/8 {Hex} C.
