Hi,I bought an old 4post cable hoist and I was wondering if you could give me some info as for as age and value.thank you.its a walker EL lift,7500 lbs,model 1002,series A-E,Racine Wisconsin. Any help would be great. M

Hello, I have just purchased the same lift. It was patented and produced starting in 1935. So they are quite old. I am looking for manuals for mine and can keep you posted. I bought mine out of a building that was being torn down. I t was delivered for $200. C. I have mine hooked up to a 220v 15a plug in. I have lifted a couple of cars with it. It seems quite strong. It is a bit wobbly, so I will be bracing it. I found a picture of one like it here. Perhaps this is yours?

according to the picture it looks like the lower support I beams are in cement. Mine are above the ground so I have built ramps.

I am interested to know how you are progressing with yours? E.S.

I have the same, trying to "dispose" it works great. Need room for the new. Follow my posts as I will show pics and video. I can delivery if not too far. I'm 100 m direct north of nyc

The garage I worked in in 1962 had one of those lifts. A bit wobbly yes but it never failed.
