Hi folks , BuddMabon here .
I'm attempting repair on the above , but not much luck so far. Hope I'm in the proper place in forum!
Found a commutator segment popped up , re fitted it & super glued the end , not on surface of commutator ! It had lifted up & took out one brush . I've sanded down the comm & all looks even . Had to make a brush from some I had kicking around . It's now tripping the breaker ( a single breaker ) on its own circuit under no load . Looks like I'm gonna have to get a 20 amp & try again .
I see a lot of us have similar situations .
Will let you know how things go .

If the circuit is rated for 15 amps you'd best find out where your problem is instead of putting a 20 amp breaker in it.
