Old columbian vise 605-m2

Well I recently moved and took a vise that was my grandfather's off my work bench for the move. A friend commented that it was beautiful. So it got me to thinking what would be a appropriate use for it? Over the last 15 years it's been in my possession I've only used it a dozen or so times. It is in great shape moves easily shuts square. The handles on the swivel are bent a little. I was curious what people's thought were. Should I restore it or leave it alone. Should I consider selling it and giving it a home where it can be used or appreciated more than I do. I work with wood primarily so don't have a lot of chores for it.

It was your grandpa's vise. Keep it and restore it.

I definitely considered that. But I wasn't sure if I should leave it as is if I choose to seeing. It's completely functional right now and it works quite well

Either way is fine, maybe just clean it up, but definitely keep it. Can't replace Grandpa's stuff

Oil the screw if you want once every few years but just leave as is and use it.
If you're into woodworking, or anything DIY mechanic or homeowner things a good vise is occasionally invaluable.
