Old compressor identification

Hello from Canada. My first post here. Trying to identify this old compressor head that was given to me, from a job site. The 110/220 Leland motor has a date mark on the pulley of 1954. what year the motor is i have no idea.The compressor head has no ID plate or no markings other than SI and oil level with an arrow on rear and a emblem on the front. No markings on the underside either.

I don't know if it is old or not. It has "plastic" lines on it, unless it has been updated or rebuilt. Also looks like there is gasket sealer oozing out around the covers. Don't know if that is a factory job. Flywheel looks contemporary maybe last 30 years or so? And does it look like one "fin" has been welded on?

no gasket that is paint missing from around gasket area. the unit leaked quite badly and was well covered with oil. Those fittings are all much newer than the unit itself. I'm thinking it is from late 40's early 50's. I'll post some more pic a little later.

Could this compressor head have been made by Mayer electric Motors, as the emblems are the same.
