I have a Dewalt DW927 drill that I haven't used in over 5 years because the batteries died. Do the big box stores still do the trade ins like they used to or can I sell it or donate it? Ideas....please

eBay or buy/build an adapter. I did both with my old Dewalt 18v collection. I first built an adapter to use my Ridgid batteries, then sold them off one by one as they got replaced.

For the effort even a cheap Ryobi drill will be light years better than yours

I've got an 18 volt non-lithium Dewalt that I still use. I also have a B&D lithium drill and two other drivers. It's not a tool I need, that's why I was wondering if it's something others could use or if it was better of tossing. Thanks for the responses, I really do appreciate them.

Try out the new Craftsman USA-made Brushless Drills from Lowes, and let us know what you think ;)

Yes, I could have saved a couple old drills and now got new batteries, see some for 20 a piece. I really need to buy a new good small drill or 2. We got heavy old stuff, it works great but out of position for screw work is a bit much. Just heavy.
