I just picked up a little vintage (non matching) stack for $120. (Mainly because I wanted the 1955 snap on KR-56 top box.) It came with the KR-56 top box, this mystery Cornwell 2 drawer mid box, and an old 1960s (I think) era craftsman bottom box.

Anyone have a clue what era the Cornwell is from??IMG_1761.jpeg

I think they started around 50, probably late 50s started chrome logo. Early lowers had one piece cover.
I think this scripted logo started around late 59-60. The italicized block letters followed in about 62….I do have another SK-24 top that was made along side my SK-535 in 60, but it has the round badge and no script…This SK-24, badged as below, was also in the 62 catalog. My money is on 59-62 for the scripted badge. It is shown in the 57 catalog, but the drawer pulls are formed straps not cast handles. A lot of subtle updates between 57 & 60… but by 62 the script was changed. However, the round badge continued on….
