Old Craftsman Drill Press

Anyone have any idea what time period this drill press is from? It came with our shop years ago, which had been a truck shop for decades earlier. This thing is heavy and the torque is insane. I don’t think I’m looking to get rid of it because I imagine it works better and will last longer than pretty much anything I can buy today.

There should be a model # plate on the base just in front of the post. Looks very similar to my 101.03581 from 1938.
