Old craftsman locking pliers

I bought this pliers today from Craigslist for 20 dollars does anybody knows who made them and what year? They look unused

Looks like late 70s early 80s to me; look at the tool itself, there might be a code on it... my guess would be Western Forge (code WF).

I second the 70s. i bought my Dad a pair like that when I was in high school
around 1976. i will look at the numbers on them next time I go to his barn. They are in the tractor tool box.

I don't see any WF markings , I don't want to use them I have another set of locking pliers what do you think they look brand new

I was going to guess the early '80s. Try taking a look at the box to see if there is anything on it from the printer.

If you are planning on using them tack weld the threaded insert where the adjustment bolt go in. I had over 6 of those and in tight situations where I was trying to apply a lot of force trying to grip some stainless Ross I squeezed the handles so tight the threaded inserts were pushed out.

They were made by the Parker Manufacturing Company.

I got a pair of those I bought back in '71. They have done the job well over the years.
