I found an older 3/8 Craftsman rachett at a rental property my parents just bought. It has an oil hole in the top and a silver lever. It was turning a little rought, so I decided to take it apart. I cleaned it with brake cleaner, and plan on lubing it with a little bearing grease. Only problem is now I do not know how to put it back together. I tried google for instructions, but came up empty. Anyone have any advice? Should have just left it alone and oiled it through the little hole, but I guess I like to tinker. Would they put it back together for me at Sears? Thanks.

Oh Hi Red! I'll try to get a picture up tonight or tomorrow morning. It is stamped with #43785. I have all the parts, spring, lever retaining clips, ball bearing. Only thing im not too sure about is where the ball bearing goes.

Wanna sell it? I have been looking for one of those. The spring goes into the bore / hole and the ball bearing goes on top of that. If you would like to sell then PM me a price.
