A bit over priced in my opinion, especially considering that it is missing at least one, if not both of the extension wings. If it had both exension wings, that is one thing. One extension wing, probaly $100, but $130 without either wing, is too high IMHO.

O and yes I have one of those saws so I am familiar with them. Without at least one extension wing, they are really pretty small to work on.

I have the same saw, only mine has a post stand rather than a cart mount. It had one wing when I got it and I bought the second wing from sears years later. One thing I don't like is that the fence does not track well. When I adjust the fence for each job/cut I use a machinist square to make sure the fence is true to the table. I know the blade is true to the table so this works but it is a PITA. I purchased a Ridgid Fence System that is universal and fits this application. I have not installed it yet.

The fence is the weak point, but everyother thing about the saw is rock solid.

JMHO, but it's about $100 too much for that saw. The later, but still cast iron C'man saws are thick on the ground here. Can't go through craigslist or yard sales without seeing one for $50. Most young guys just don't seem to be into DIY woodworking any more.

The other thing making the older saws worthless is the SawStop hysteria. Today, many potential buyers have been brainwashed into believing if one just walks near an older saw, it will roar out of control and rip an arm off. Your opinions may vary.

I had one identical to it with a 3/4 hp motor, no wings. Ran smooth as silk. I had it advertised on craigslist for 65, ended up selling it to the only guy that ever called on it (after about two weeks on CL) for 50 bucks. (i got the wings off it before i sold it, to put on mine that i got from my Dad years ago). I actually thought it would bring more than that. They are really good heavy built saws.

Just got one kinda rusty for 20 with one table extension, the cast type. 1HP motor. I now have 3 table saws and use them accordingly. The 20 special will live outside under a cover and tarp and be used for metals and wood.

Agreed on the SawStop mania. Most of the woodworkers I know are either hunting and gathering for scrap lumber to be able to even build something, or bringing wheelbarrows of cash into the store because nothing but a SawStop TS will suffice for them.
I don't know any woodworkers that have lost fingers but I know SEVERAL farmers that are missing them...maybe SawStop should release a tractor or a combine!

A girl I use to work with lost her bottom 3 fingers on her left hand in a highschool shop class accident with a table saw. I always wanted to ask, but she didn't like talking about it, so I didn't pry. Said something about a table saw and... :dunno: She was pretty short and petite so, not sure what happened. She is only a few years older than me, I was surprised that they still had shop class in HS. My HS didn't

I always enjoy pictures where guys had shirts, ties and aprons or lab coats and bent over, working on the lathe. :eyecrazy: O the good old days.
