Anyone know where I can find the model number or instructions on disassembly of drawers/sliders. it's a 1957 model i just don't know where to look on it for the model number.

Is there a database for old craftsman tools etc somewhere?

You just pull them out until they hit the stop, push it back in about 1/8in & then push the retainer through the small hole on the side of the slide & thy will then bypass the stop & come all the way out.
Sometimes a bit of ******* about is necessary. Slides can be removed from the cabinet the same way.
Or do they have the small metal clip on the end of the slides? In which case just pry the end out of the hole on the slide.

You sure this is true on a 57' model? Maybe you're thinking of the modern Waterloo built.

Post a pic of the slides, there's not a whole lot of different ways and someone will know by the appearance.

If theres a 2" long black metal piece on the side of each slide, just stick a screwdriver behind the front of it and pry it out slightly till you can pull the drawer forward. I can post pics in the morning.
