For some ratchets, yes. For other models, the kits are no longer made.

Most teardrop quick release ratchet kits can be hard to find. Earlier model ratchet kits (pre-QR) are nearly impossible to find as they are discontinued. However, some show up on eBay from time to time and are quickly snapped up.

Most Sears stores no longer carry a large stock of repair kits. They only have a few of the newer kits on hand, if at all. You may have better luck searching yard sales and flea markets for a donor ratchet to get parts from. Sometimes it's cheaper that way, sometimes it costs more. YMMV. :dunno:

I just picked up Wednesday from the store 3-4 blocks away, 4 kits for the RHFT ratchets from the 70's in 1/4, 1/2 and 2 in 3/8... (Yes, I cleaned them out...) I think those stopped production for Sears 30+ years ago? :dunno: (Easco made them long afterwards I think)
