So my dad gave me 2 old wrenches awhile back. One was seized due to being rusty and full of old gunk. The other had a cracked jaw that needed replaced. Last night my father in law gave me another. I now have 6" (father in law) 8" and 10" (dad). They're soaking over night and I'll clean them off tomorrow.

Nice to have a set made up from the donations from “both” of your dads.

When you say “soaking” is that solvent to soften and remove the old greasy crud?

I like to soak in ATF or Simple Green to dissolve greasy crud and soak in Evaporust to free up rusty moving parts.

Sometime in the early - mid 60's (64?) Crescent started making the depression in the handle go all the way to the thumb wheel like yours.
That doesn't narrow it down much but...
