I am working on my old 17" delta drill press, converting it from the high speed model, to the slow speed. I have the slow speed pulley for the spindle, but do not have the slow speed pulley for the motor. The part number from the old Delta print outs I have is DP-625 or 1311. I have scoured the internet and Ebay, with no luck. Anyone have an idea where to find one of these pulleys?

Not as crucial, but I am also looking for the odd ball special hardened washers CG-40 and the special lock washer DP-722. Thanks

Ask (put up a WTB ad) on OWWM.org BOYD. It's a pretty common drill press, though the slow speed is a bit loss common. I have seen many parted out over there. Ebay prices for singleton machine parts are usually significantly higher than owwm'ers, who like helping people make machines complete.

I have not really looked, but I don't think the motor pulley changes much on a slow speed setup. Probably why you are not seeing anything in your search.

I checked the part numbers and they are different. Also, the slow speed spindle pulley has 5 grooves where the high speed motor pulley only has four.

The slow speed and hi speed pulleys (motor and spindle pulleys) are indeed a matched set. You're probably not finding much because 1311 is a catalog number, not the part number cast into the pulley. Try DP-645.

But I'm sure it varied from differing models of drill press, and it would not surprise if Delta dropped the slow speed motor pulley sometime in the past.

Yeah that can be a problem. 19mm will be tight... Maybe you can make it work.

I think the is probably going to be the plan. I think the chance of finding a factory delta pulley is going to be slim and slimmer. I would be nice to keep it original, but the scarcity of the part is probably the limiting factor.

Anyone know a DP-645 dimensions. I would like to match one of these Chinese pulleys to the DP-645. Most importantly the diameter of the large side and small side. Thanks
