Old Delta Drill Press Spring and Cover

I was hoping someone had info on a replacement return spring for this old Delta drill.

A guy gave me the drill years ago and I have been pricing new Chinese **** and decided to give this one another go.

The chuck stays down and does not return to the upper position. I am thinking there is a coil spring on the left side in the silver covered, double nutted thing below in the third picture?

A belt cover would be nice too.

Any help or ideas for repair parts or other info regarding this old drill press appreciated.

How wide is the cap on the spring? If it is 2 1/8", then this will probably fit

A google search will turn up more. There are a lot of them out there. Just get your measuremrnts and go for a match.
