Hello all, First post, and I searched. Old Floor and Barn floor for some posts but didnt really come across any. Heres my situation My home was built in the 1860's. I am guessing by the barns construction it was built in the 30's or 40's. At some point someone poured a slab 14' by 25' inside of it. as well as a grease pit that has since been filled in. The 14x25 section has now been sectioned off and I am using it for fab and welding work as well as a place to work on my cars other than the attatched garage and shop.

This floor easily has 50 plus years of dirt, grease and grime covering it no amount of sweeping can clean this concrete. I have decided to power wash the floor with a degreasser and was just looking for recomendations for a durable finish, I dont need the dream garage finish as I have that on the attatched garage and workshop. Just a durable non slip easy clean surface for a unlevel shop floor.

Any advice or links would be very much apreciated I am looking at a gray finish just basic and durable...

Thanks
Matt

I'm in the same situation Matt, my barn floor is in rough shape. I haven't gotten around to the power wash yet, but hopefully someone will chime in with some good suggestions.
