I recently purchased an old dremel kit in a wood box. There does not appear to be a serial number but from what I have read it may be from the 50' of 40's. Can anyone help me figure out the year?

Inside the box there was also an old catalog which i scanned into a pdf.

Here is a link:

If there is a special place for such documents please feel free to download and post.
Thanks,
Paul

I still have the Dremel I got new in 1966 as a Christmas present. It has a steel box and looks a little more modern than yours.

The link says something about 20 or 25 years experience, so I'd guess mid to late 50's, or maybe even real early 60's.

Update: I checked Wiki and the company was founded in 1932, so 25 years would put the date at ~1957 or later. There is a 1947 ad showing the wood box in the Wiki blurb
