If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate the help. My buddy bought this old drill press. All I can tell you about it is there is a foot pedal and the drill works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like either a Dunlap or Craftsman. I can't remember the model numbers of them though.

Atlas Craftsman drill press, probably 15". I was told by others here that the early ones had two spoke handles. The later ones I have seen from the 1940's have 4 spoke handles.

look at owwm.com for manuals, etc

I don't think it's an Atlas. If I had to choose between between Atlas or Dunlap, I'd go with Dunlap based on the head/riveted badge.

I don't think that it's a Craftsman/Atlas (Dunlap's were rebranded Atlas, same as Craftsman). I don't recall Atlas using an open window for the spindle/chuck release. I'd look into it being another manufacturer.
