Old drill press identification

I bought this old drill press at an auction and was wondering if I screwed up. I am trying to find info about it can anyone help.

Turf: it looks like a nice old Atlas or Delta DP with an interesting chuck in it. can you post any more pictures and give us a price on what you paid?

looks like you did ok so far. how does it run?

It's pieced together. That's a 17" delta head/bench mount with turret spindle on a Avery? Production table base.

I paid less then $400 for it when you count riggers fees and buyers premium, it is a delta press and was used to make revolving doors. It was in the shop when they made the doors for the world trade center. So far that is all I know, I am hoping to restore it for my shop. Right now I am trying to find out more so I know I am set up to move it.

I will get more pictures when I get it back to my garage.
