I am new to this forum and have learned a lot just browsing around. This morning I saw this very cool and very old drill press on Craigslist for only $200 and thought I would post a picture of it here in case you guys don't look at the Craigslist deals section very often. It's large and looks very heavy. The link to the add is in the Craigslist thread.

Thanks for the photo. That's an old beater generically known as a "camelback". Interesting to look at but very Flintstone in operation.

And it would be interesting to have a poll here as to how many don't look at craigslist very often. I'd venture most do regularly.

I still use a drill press similar to this (flat belt drive) to-day, they are a great machine.

"Flintstone" they may be, but that will merrily drill large holes through practically anything you throw at it.
