Tear it down prior to buying a kit so you can inspect the internals. The above HPS contact number will be the cheapest, should be less than $30.
Well, Obviously all soft parts should be replaced and covered by a New seal kit. The reason for a tear down and inspection prior to buying a kit is two fold. The first reason is because you don’t want to purchase a New seal kit and then upon disassembly find that the cylinder bore is rusted/damaged to the point beyond repair or something catastrophic has happened internally. Secondly, There may be hard parts that aren’t included in the seal kit and are still available and you can then place 1 order and save on shipping etc.Was going to order a kit, as I wouldn't know by inspection what parts to replace.
Or are there just some parts that need to be changed over time?
