Anyone have a suggestion for a re-seal kit. Many on Ebay, but not sure which one to purchase. No markings.

If there are no markings, it's probably Asian in origin. If Japanese, the seals and U-cup will be of good quality. If Chinese you might as well scrap it. But you'll have to pull it apart to see how it's made. For parts, contact Hydraulic Parts Supply at 620-594-2247

Tear it down prior to buying a kit so you can inspect the internals. The above HPS contact number will be the cheapest, should be less than $30.

FYI It will have the spanner style tank nut.

Looks like a heavy well made jack.
Doesn't look imported, reminiscent rather, of my ole Lincoln jack

Well, Obviously all soft parts should be replaced and covered by a New seal kit. The reason for a tear down and inspection prior to buying a kit is two fold. The first reason is because you don’t want to purchase a New seal kit and then upon disassembly find that the cylinder bore is rusted/damaged to the point beyond repair or something catastrophic has happened internally. Secondly, There may be hard parts that aren’t included in the seal kit and are still available and you can then place 1 order and save on shipping etc.
