Can anyone tell me about this toolbox? These are the only pictures I have and no description. Any ideas on the age, use or history of such a box? What would be a fair price? Looks like a matching top and bottom box.

Note that two of the pictures have a green on white sign of some sort, don't care about that but the box in the picture. Thanks for any help.

Very cool old deco era box, however its just that, a cool old deco era tool box with a 1946-48 ford horn button attached to the lid.

Thanks for the heads up, I understand now that it is a horn button. Looks like there is something behind it. I will probably check out the box in any case given it's age as it looks pretty cool on it's own and maybe I can find out more about the box. Looks like the top at least is in good shape.

Bingo! Good eye, I believe that is it exactly. You can even see the ends of the craftsman badge under the horn button. That's a great old box and I will check it out for sure. If I can get a good price it might be fun to clean up and use in my garage. This is a great site. Thanks guys for the quick replys. Maybe I'll find it is stuffed with a bunch of Plomb tools! I can dream can't I?
