My little rec room garage floor is bad. Concrete rubble never stops if I try to shop
vac it. I put outdoor carpet over some of it. It looks like a decent old block foundation.
Is the only way to fix this floor remove it? Any of you guys do this before?

The garage may not be worth the effort. I thought about a leveler but doubt thats a
good option since the floor never seems to stop crumbling.

It’s a small two car garage.

On "Garage Journal" your likely to be directed to make it a garage (again) and don't work about it. 🤔
It's hard to say what's going on with the slab not having a picture or 2.👍

I would replace it if your budget allows. Like Cobbler said any repair will be temporary. Just a SWAG but it looks like either salt corrosion (from cars parked in the winter) OR efflorescence.

How bad would it be to replace? Would it be best to just take out the soft spots and leave the solid floor alone? None of it is great but it lays flat and the building is fairly strait for the age. This is just a hobby garage .
