There is at least one nice Millers Falls reference source out there … see picture. Does anyone have a link to a similar resource for craftsman hand tools, like eggbeater drills and planes? Everything i am finding is about wrenches and such.

Oldtoolheaven is a wonderful resource. Randy was really into it some time back, have not heard from him lately as he was sourcing better and better info.

Since so much Craftsman was outsourced from different people over the years, you really need to look at the source maker.

I did a comparison of planes labeled Craftsman made by Sargent and Millers Falls here. Not as nice as Randy’s work.

There is a thread looking at hand drills that I’ve dumped a few things in, will update with the link here later.

Edit: Oh wait, you started it.

Funny.

Reason i ask, i have an egg beater drill clearly marked craftsman 1071 or more correctly 107.1 but the ”.” is very faint. Anyway, i found a posting about it, and the person said his looks just like a MF model-something with the spoked wheel. Fine … but mine doesn't have a spoked wheel, and the body is different.
