Her is a small sample of my tool box collection. I have about 35 tool boxes. I have 6 roll cabs etc. I threw in a portion of my collection of oil cans and a few other odds and ends. This stuff seems to multiply on its own:)

Like you, I have tools boxes piling up all over the place. I just can't resist those old Craftsman boxes with the oval shaped logo/name plate. It is very difficult for me to walk away from one at the swap meet.

As for Herbrand, my wife found a half-inch Herbrand ratchet handle with the sliding reverse switch button. She looked it up: 1941. She is now convinced that Herbrand means, literally, "Her Brand," tools made for Rosie the Riveter in WW2. I tossed over some Herbrand wrenches and sockets, and now she has a collection that is strictly Her Brand.

Fantastic tool collection:thumbup::thumbup:

This might sound like blasphemy on a tool forum but I never collected the oil cans, call it lack of room, lack of money, or whatever but after so many power tools,air tools,hammers, etc. I had to draw the line somewhere in the sand so I stopped looking at cans many years ago.

I've always liked the look of splatter finish on the Herbrand boxes. That's an interesting collection of oil cans also.

Very nice....:thumbup:
