Old Interchangeable Head Wrenches

I was passing through old Temecula CA yesterday and stopped at an antique store that has a lot of tools. They have a wrench set that is pretty rare. I've only seen pictures of them.

It's in good shape and reasonably priced considering the number of heads and handles. It's not something I'd collect, but I thought someone here might be looking for a set.

The seller may know woodworking tools, but they are pretty sketchy with mechanic's tools. Here's an example. What's missing from these pliers?

I've never seen a pair of linesman's pliers stamped "PAID". I'm guessing these were warrantied.

They have a few Plomb pebble wrenches for sale all starting at $7 and going up. They don't bargain and I wasn't in the mood to spend that much, so I left them behind.

Are you sure the "PAID" isn't "PATD", i.e. Patented?? In any event, I'm all about vintage tools, but those are scrap....
