I zero issues with my T-30. And it too, is an oldie. nothing wrong with the old IR's, they are pretty much bulletproof.

The photo you're showing is not even an old IR T-30. They've been doing industrial work for longer than most GJers have been alive.

Yes, you can get parts.

So I picked it up - 200.00 because the motor sparked and smoked, the tank is in great shape. But a couple questions.

it is a model # 2340l5.230

I can not find specs on the OEM motor, the current motor is a Baldor 5hp 3450 rpm 21 amp. I suspect it is NOT the original motor? What specs I see on web sights is this is a 28 amp compressor.

Anyone have the specs on the motor? is it 3450 or 1750 rpm? clockwise or counter?
Also, I was supprised it is a SINGLE belt, not double.

Any insite would be appreciated

Thanks,
Slack

Checked the pulley sizes: motor - 6", pump 13.5"
So that is a factor of .444 x 3450 rpm = 1533 pump rpm
Man that is screaming,,,,
thinking about a 1750 motor and an 9" motor pulley = 1166 pump rpm??

Thoughts?
